Get On the Internet
Setup Wizard
These instructions are for Windows 95 full version or Windows 95 plus. These
instructions will not work for an upgrade to Windows '95. If you need assistance with

1. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Internet Tools Internet, Get On The Internet.
2. Click on the circle in front of "Manual", click Next.
3. Click on I use my Phone Line, click Next.
4. May ask for the Windows 95 disk or CD. If not go to step 5.
5. The Computer might detect a modem and display what kind. If you know for a fact that
it is wrong, you can change it. Otherwise, click OK.
6. Enter telenet.net for the name of Service Provider. Then click Next.
7. Enter Phone Number assigned for your area. Click Next. For Numbers click here
8. Enter your username (all lower case).
9. Enter your password. Remember the password is case sensitive. Then click Next.
10. In the IP Address window mark "My Internet Service Provider Automatically
assigns me one." Then click Next.
11. Enter the following:
DNS Server : 204.97.152.225
Alternate DNS Server : 204.97.152.238
Then Click Next.
12. Internet Mail should be checked. Enter your email address username@telenet.net.
Enter the Internet mail server telenet.net
Then click Next.
13. Change the setting to say Internet Mail Settings. Click Next.
14. Click Finish and restart your computer.
15. Now log onto the Internet either by Double Clicking the Internet icon on the
Desktop or go to Start, Programs, Internet Tools, Internet Explorer.
16. A default home page comes up. You need to change it to TELENET.NET's home page by
clicking in the ADDRESS field and entering http://www.telenet.net then pressing enter,
Telenet's home page will be loaded. Click on VIEW Click on OPTIONS Click START PAGE tab or
Navigation then Click on USE CURRENT button Click OK
