How to set up the Apple Internet Connection Kit

The Apple Internet Connection Kit is a very good suite of software that comes pre-installed on some Macs. It is also available commercially. One great aspect of this suite is that it will automatically configure MacTCP and TCP/IP,   the setup is one step easier! To configure it,   you will need to open the "Internet Dialer. It is located in the Internet Connection Kit folder.

When the dialer comes up, go under the "Provider" pulldown menu (located at the top of the screen beside "Edit"), and choose "Define Provider Information". You will be presented with a splash screen.

Click on the next button.

On this screen, click one time on the "Next" button. The following         screen will appear.

Fill in the appropriate information about you and then TeleNet's local number, provided in our Brochure. Click Next.

Fill in the appropriate information, and click "Next". Your E-mail password is the same as your log on password. Look in the TeleNet Brochure for the proper phone numbers. When finished with this window, you can click "Next".

Match this information and click Next.

Match the picture, and click "Next".

Match this info and click Next. We do not use a script.

This Screen is for Internet Providers who require connect scripts.  TeleNet does not, you can simply click "OK" this will bring you back to the dialer screen.  Make sure the modem is connect, and you are ready to connect.  Good Luck

Click finish to return to the Macintosh support page.
