Technical Support Reference

This screen allows you to either register with an ISP online with Apple, or you can update the current configuration. You want to click Update to add or modify an Internet entry.

This is merely a list of information you will need fromTeleNet. To continue, click the Right Arrow on the screen.

Select Add Internet configuration from the screen and press the Right Arrow.

This is just asking for you to name the connection. I always use the username but TeleNet is also ok. You may name this anything you want. Select Modem from the choice at bottom. Then, click theRight Arrow to continue.

Here you will have to pick your modem, or the closest modem that matches your configuration. Select the Modem Port(Unless this is being used on a Laptop, in which case, there might be a special modem port). Choose Tone dialing. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

Here comes the important information. Start off by entering the local acess number for the city you are in. In the next blank, type the Username in all lower case. In the third blank, you enter your Password, again in all lower case. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

This screen asks whether the IP address is server assigned or specified. TeleNet assigns you an IP address so choose No for the question. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

Here you will need to input our DNS servers. In the top entry field, type in 204.97.152.225. Press return. Now enter 204.97.152.238. The bottom blank is for a Domain name, which is not required byTeleNet. Simply click the Right Arrow to continue.

This screen presents E-mail configuration. Your email address is username@telenet.net. The email password is the same as your normal login password. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

This screen covers the email account and the server. The email account is your username@mail.telenet.net

The outgoing mail server is mail.telenet.net

This screen just asks for the News server which is news.telenet.net. Click the Right Arrow to continue.

Now that you're done configuring the Assistant with the information, you can either review the info by clicking on Show Details or just proceed by clicking Go Ahead.
