Error Type 1

1. Start by opening the System Folder.

2. Locate and throw away the file “MacTCP DNR”

3. Open the “Preferences” folder.

4. Locate and trash “MacTCP Prep”.

5. Loacte and trash “TCP/IP Preferences”.

6. Trash PPP Preferences.

7. Open the “Netscape f ” folder.

8. KEEP: Mail, News, Java, and Bookmarks. Thrash everything else.

9. Restart

10. Reset up FreePPP and double check the network settings.

11. That should fix the problem. If it doesn’t rebuild the desktop and run DiskFirst Aid.
