Error Type -39

An error of type -39 is eofErr or the file is corrupt

1. Locate the file you are having trouble with and throw it away.

2. Open the System Folder.

3. If the file that is corrupt is MacTCP, throw away MacTCP DNR.

4. OPen the Preferences folder.

5. Throw away the Preferences file that corresponds with the corrupt file. Example:

6. If the corrupt file is ConfigPPP, trash the PPP Preferences.

7. Restart.

8. Reinstall the file.
