Netscape Navigator
Personal Edition Ver 2.0 & 2.01

(Note: There are special instructions for Windows 95 users. Do not use these Netscape instructions if you have Windows 95.)

Installing Netscape Personal Edition

1. Run Windows, and close all open applications or programs.

2. Insert Disk 1 into your floppy drive.

3. Choose File - Run.

4. Type A:\setup in the box, and then click OK.

5. The Install Wizard appears. Follow the instructions in each of the screens that follows.

6. After restarting windows - double-click on Account Setup Wizard. - Click next -

• Click "I already have a service provider"
• For Name of easy access enter "TeleNet" - Click next
• Click next - Enter Your Name & Company (if you have one)
• Enter your Login Name (userid) with a capital 'P' in front
• Enter your Password and DO NOT check "I will need a TTY window"
• Enter your Email Login (userid again with no 'P') and enter your password and click next.
• Enter the phone number assigned to your area and click next.
• Enter the following: Primary DNS Server 204.97.152.225 Secondary DNS Server 204.97.152.238 Domain Name telenet.net click next.
• Enter the following: POP Server mail.telenet.net SMTP Server mail.telenet.net NNTP Server news.telenet.net click next.
• Click next again to do modem configuring. (It may be necessary to have the documentation that came with your modem handy)
• Click Finish. - The modem information will be returned to the Setup Wizard
• If the info. seems OK, click next. Enter your Phone Number then click next. The Phone number to be dialed will be provided to you upon signup.
• If you have call waiting, consult your local phone book for the disable code (This code will disable call waiting only for the duration of your Internet call). If you are in a place that needs to enter a prefix to the number to get an outside line place it prefix in the proper field. Then click Next. Now you can connect and register or register later. If you register Later, click finish. If you register now follow the instructions that come on the screen.

7. Once you are ready to connect you can change the start page to be Telenet's home page. To do this start netscape and dial in. Once connected click on OPTIONS then GENERAL PREFERENCES and change START WITH to 'http://www.telenet.net' and click OK.
