Updated August 11, 1997.Win '95 Internet Setup WizardThese instructions are for Windows 95 full version or Windows 95 Plus. These instructions will not work for an upgrade to Windows 95. If you need assistance with setting up your software please call (518) 993-4281. 1. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Internet Tools, Internet Setup Wizard or Get On The Internet
2. Click on Next 3. Click on circle in front of "I already have an account with a different service provider." so there is a dot in the circle. 4. The program may ask for the Windows 95 disk or CD - if not go to step 5. 5. The computer might detect a modem and display what kind. If you know for a fact that it is wrong, you can change it. Otherwise click OK. 6. Enter telenet.net for the name of Service Provider. Then click Next. 7. Enter Phone Number assigned for your area. Click Next. 8. Enter your username. 9. Enter your password. Remember the password is case sensitive. Then click Next. 10. In the IP Address window mark "My Internet Service Provider Automatically assigns me one." Then click Next. 11. Enter the following: DNS Server : 204.97.152.225 12. Internet Mail should be checked. Enter your email address username@telenet.net. Enter the Internet mail server telenet.net. Then click Next. 13. Change the setting to say Internet Mail Settings. Click Next. 14. Click Finish and restart your computer. 15. Now log onto the Internet either by double clicking the Internet icon on the Desktop or go to Start, Programs, Internet Tools, Internet Explorer. 16. A default home page comes up. You need to change it to TELENET.NET's home page by clicking in the ADDRESS field and entering http://www.telenet.net then pressing enter, Telenet's home page will be loaded. Click on VIEW Click on OPTIONS Click START PAGE tab or Navigation then Click on USE CURRENT button Click OK Happy Surfing! If you have any Questions or Problems
